Christodoulos Xeros’ alleged accomplice, Angeliki, was arrested outside the post office of Epanomi, a Thessaloniki suburb in northern Greece .
Police had been looking for the 22-year-old university student since Xeros’ arrest on January 3, 2015. The two terrorists had met during the summer, through another university student from the island of Ikaria. Since then, Angeliki joined the terrorist group, Cells of Fire.
Many residents had testified to the police, saying that the young woman was often seen with Christodoulos Xeros, appearing as his girlfriend or daughter, depending on the situation, while she often stayed in the hideout with Xeros.
Members of the terrorist group Cells of Fire had been organizing Xeros’ murder from within Korydallos prison, with the help of the 22-year-old woman.
Meanwhile, Greek police have already arrested two more people who were involved in the Christodoulos Xeros case and were led before the special investigator.
