Cunanan Challenges JPE, Jinggoy and Bong to Undergo a Lifestyle Check
Outgoing Technology Resource Center (TRC) Chief Dennis Cunanan yesterday dared Sen. Enrile, Sen. Revilla Jr. and Sen. Estrada to submit themselves to a lifestyle check and allow the ombudsman to scrutinize their bank accounts by executing waivers to prove their innocence in connection with the Php 10 Billion Pork Barrel/PDAF Scam case. Cunanan issued the challenge after he was accused of under declaring his wealth following reports he owns a Php 40 Million property in an exclusive subdivision in Quezon City and a fleet of luxurious vehicles. But Cunanan's denial comes with a challenge to Enrile, Revilla and Estrada to submit themselves to lifestyle check. After all, Cunanan stressed that the Php 10 Billion Pork Barrel/PDAF Scam case is about elected public officials who deliberately conspired with businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles and allocated hundreds of millions, if not billions in public funds placed at their discretion for ghost projects in exchange for hefty commissions. Last week reports that Cunanan who was earlier admitted provisionally to the government Witness Protection Program (WPP) allegedly owns a house, with a massive stone pillars and impressive balcony. The allegations were boosted by the presence of a dark green 2006 Nissan X-trail which was parked in front of the Php 40 Million house of Cunanan.
