Pres. Obama Calls Americans to Give Donations to the Yolanda Victims
US Pres. Barrack Obama has called on Americans to give money to help the Philippines recover from the wrath of the Super Typhoon Yolanda "Today, I encourage Americans who want to help our Filipino friends to visit whitehouse.gov/typhoon, which offers links to the organization working in the Philippines and ways to support their efforts, thoughts and prayers continue to be with the people of the Philippines as they mourn so many loved ones and neighbors lost in awful destruction of Typhoon Haiyan." He gave his assurance that the US government will continue to do its part in extending aid as US Agency for International Development (USAID) and military personnel are on the ground and working around the clock. Obama disclosed that the first American planes carrying emergency supplies and food for 10,000 families already arrived in the Philippines.
