Philippines-PNoy Will Check and Inspect Bohol This Thursday
Pres. Benigno Aquino III will visit Bohol on Thursday to inspect the reconstructed roads and bridges that were damaged by the 7.2 magnitude earthquake that hit the Visayan region last October 15. PNoy is expected to arrive at around 10 a.m. to meet workers of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC). Abatan Bridge which connects the towns of Maribojoc and Cortes is among the main priorities of Aquino's inspection visit. The other projects that will be inspected will only be identified upon his arrival in Bohol. He will fly back in Manila right after the inspection. Gov. Chatto expressed his gratitude for the support of PNoy in bringing back Bohol to it's feet again, particularly in fast tracking the resumption of power supply although they still experience power interruptions because of generation deficiency. Earlier PNoy said that the government has enough funds to help rehabilitate what the quake has done.
