New temporary worsening weather bulletin issued by CMH in which the severe weather will continue for the next few hours in Attica , Evia Aegean.
According to the CMH emailers will remain unchangeable until the early hours of Thursday , affecting more Eastern Macedonia , Thrace , the islands of North and East Aegean , Crete and the Dodecanese.
The General Secretariat for Civil Protection of the Ministry of Public Order and Citizen Protection has asked the relevant government departments and regions and municipalities of the country they are in increased readiness to face any consequences from bad weather .
According to meteorologists , however , the wave of storms will gradually weaken by Thursday and the weather will improve. The winds will blow from northern directions while the temperature will rise over the weekend, while new wave of bad weather expected Monday with showers , thunderstorms and fall of mercury.
The weather Friday
Better weather in mainland Greece and expansion of rains and storms in the Aegean, waiting for Friday. The phenomena but gradually weaken the Aegean and the weather during the evening hours will improve.
Temperatures will range from 8 to 18 degrees in Northern Greece , from 10 to 20 degrees in Central Greece , from 15 to 20 degrees in southern Greece , from 13 to 23 degrees in western Greece and from 16 to 22 degrees in the Aegean and Crete.
The winds in the southeastern Aegean will blow strong southeasterly to near gale with attenuation of the evening and the rest of northern Aegean addresses are valid until almost stormy and windy locally . The Ionian winds will blow north-easterly to moderate and the Patras strong.
Sunny with cloudy local increased wait in Attica. The temperature reached 18 degrees centigrade. The winds in the Saronic Gulf and S.Evia will blow strong northerly to near gale and temporarily in the South Evian windy with attenuation of the evening.
The temperature in Thessaloniki will reach 18 degrees Celsius. The winds will blow the Thermaikos strong northwesterly to near gale force , but gradually fade
