Philippines-Alicia Keys Visited Villamor Air Base to Bring Cheer and Joy to Survivor Victims
The Grammy winning singer Alicia Keys visited the headquarters of the Philippine Air Force yesterday to bring cheer with hundreds of evacuees from provinces wrecked by the Super Typhoon Yolanda. The American singer distributed crayons and coloring books to children at the Villamor Air Base grandstand, where evacuees from Leyte and Eastern Samar provinces arrive via C-130 planes. The R and B star was in Manila for a concert Monday at the seaside Mall of Asia Arena. She also tweeted 3 days after the Super Typhoon Yolanda struck "To the people of the Philippines my heart is with you."
