The photographic camera captures images, which instantly converts into an electronic signal, which is transmitted wirelessly to a special microchip implanted behind the eyeball.
The electrodes of the microchip decrypt the signal, which is then converted to a monochrome image, which will pass through the nerves in the brain, which can realize a light and shade patterns spots, depending on the electrodes are stimulated.
According to researchers, users of the bionic eye will be able to gradually learn and translate the visual patterns produced so as to take the form of clear images.
Already, the green light for commercialization of the Argus II have given European regulators.
